Incoming Huge Object- August 17th and September 26th Given Dates for Massive Quakes, Flooding... ?

Posted in Skunk Works because I don't believe any of it, and if anyone can either confirm or deny this with some reasonable arguments, it would help. BUT- I must say, the following conversation on some radio show IS interesting. And if true, I could see how it might cause some problems, but I think it's just fearmongering.

It's probably just to sell something, as so often is the case with the doom-mongers.

So let's get to it and do the usual debunking. They claim the object could destabilize parts of the asteroid belt, causing the earth to get pelted with meteorites- or worse. Object is said to be close to the size of the moon?

Then why aren't all the observatories reporting it? They're tying this into supposedly confidential, inside source information from foreign intelligence agencies and US gov contacts- that some people and families in the military have been told to be prepared and get ready to evacuate. But anyway, here's the video, which is a pretty short but interesting ten minutes.

I have already heard this, listened to the whole two hour special. All we can do is wait, and make whatever preparations we can. It's like they said, even if you don't believe it, you can treat it like a training drill if you want. Me, I'm gonna be waiting in my house, if this is TEOTWAWKI, you can find me wandering around the ruins of my neighborhood, naked with a bottle of jack in one hand and a kitchen knife in the other, singing at the top of my lungs. Otherwise, I'll just be sitting here, waiting for the next fear-porn pusher and his new end-times date.

Very interesting, Hope it's not true though. Going to the coast (Cornwall, UK) during those dates. Might take my inflatable dingy to be on the safe side.

watched this vid earlier ,someone posted it in another thread,
the voices on the video sounded official and convincing ,and they had pictures as well . Thats enough for me ,time to pack up the family truckster and head topside asap.I didnt even get talked into buying a set of steak knives or a steam mop.

Why would you bring a drunk kitchen knife to what would clearly be a gunfight?

In the exchange, the one guy says something to the effect of "All the scientists I've talked to, and there are many, all confirm this object and the expected flooding along the coasts."

This has happened before and will most likely happen again. Our Ancestors left us warning of what was to come, but it took use until the Space Age to understand the nature of the threat that our World now faces. For the last 50 years forces behind the scenes have been making preparations for this event. To fund an operation of this size would take trillions upon trillions of dollars, to date the governments of the World have created 720 Trillion dollars in dept, now guess where that money went.

Massive bunkers that can hold tens of thousands of people have been build across the United States and the World. If you look around ATS you'll find what I'm talking about.

The Department of Homeland Security has been planing for massive civil unrest sometime in the near future. When the truth gets out, and they powers that be can no longer hide the truth of what is about to occur, panic and civil unrest will set in. It will become necessary to take certain action to maintain order, at least until the event occurs.

Evacuating the coastal cities may save some but if the object has a debris field form the asteroid belt following it there is know telling what areas will be safe and what zones are unsafe. Plus an object the size of Earth's Moon passing us by will cause massive earthquakes and god know what other kind of geological activity (volcanoes and super volcanoes could go off).

Only time will tell if this is true of total bull#.

I pray its total bull#.

Because if its not......

I pray for everyone.....

What a 100% load of steaming BS as usual. I can guarantee this is BS, not that I expect anyone to take my word for it. But seeing as there's no way i can 'prove' it it's all you'll get.

Size of our moon?

The object in the Video is the size of Jupiter!

TA we've both been around long enough to know that we'll probably be bored as hell on 8/17 and 9/26......

I'm still disappointed about the D4rk Knight..... damn it...

They do sound genuinely scared..
But I have seen a thousand vids like this since 2009..

As always I guess we'll wait and see.. I live on the south east coast of England!!

Nice comments all, but not exactly what we're looking for. The idea is, we need someone to deny this object, and its potential effects, as non-existant. Simply stating "It's all crap," with no other reason why, doesn't pass. I want to hear "It's BS because all the scientists I'VE talked to say it's BS. ____________ (insert name) says.....And furthermore..."

I mean give us all something to go on here, is what I am saying.

How when any reference to anyone who would actually know doesn't count and any data from an observatory or instrument capable of detecting such a thing is 'official' and therefore does count.
The only time these sources would count is if they supported the claim...

Previous explanations that amateur astronomers would see it and that it would affect the orbits of the planets are equally ignored. All completing the usual scenario where the argument relies on creating a set of criteria for disproval impossible to fulfill. A sign of the weakest argument possible.

I'm not worried, I won't bother saying why as it would prove nothing to those that want to believe.
But I'm less worried than I was at the Olympics yesterday or any of the other days I was the last couple of weeks, and the amount of waryness I experienced was my normal 'crowded London event' amount, not because of the demented theories being being thrown around in here.

I just feel sorry for people who walk around paranoid or shut up in their home because they've bought into the latest scare on here...

Well I could see the possibility that amateur telescopes lack the imaging power to capture it until it gets a lot closer- leaving the only possible verification of such an object in the hands of those with the most powerful telescopes.

And what if it was true, and they realized that the amateurs will soon see it anyway, and are capitalizing on the time period of difference to warn all the top leaders and military to make preparations BEFORE anyone had a clue about what is to happen? Far-fetched? Maybe, but so was Operation Northwoods. If this was going down I would not be surprised in the least that they'd be saving their own asses (by concealing it and prepping), because that's what they've been doing all along.

Even so, the people talking in the video never said it was going to hit us. They just said it was moving at an extremely high rate of speed, and was going to pass close enough and was big enough to cause some major problems.

For it to be large enough to have the effect described and to be within the time period mentioned, it would be more then close enough by now to be observed with even modest amateur gear. Bearing in mind you can easily detect exoplanet transits of some of the largest hot Jupiters with gear running into only thousands. Not to mention there are plenty of people including school kids with remote access to telescopes such as Faulkes (some have even discovered numerous asteroids mere meters across) and anyone for a fee can use high quality telescopes and imaging equipment remotely. Seriously, its BS.

I feel that the 'planet' shown in the beginning of the vid is Venus, its orbit is rather high from the plain of the solar system, plus the 'object' did not seem very reflective, due to the dense cloud on Venus, I really don't know what to think.

Man I heard this guy before so many times spouting this crap.

I'm sure this is the same bloke talking who saw a SOHO image of Venus and said "OMG IT's NIBIRU!!! INCOMING!!!"

I honestly wouldn't believe a word these people say.

The sad thing is so many people let themselves get fleeced again and again and again... Then they have the cheek to tell the less gullible of us that we're the 'gullible sheep'..

So where is the guy who always adds numbers to prove...nothing.

1+7 = 8
2+6 = 8

Both equal 8, cue the marching bands, etc.

I'll put my faith in astronomers getting it right, not some tube.
