Two militants were killed and a third detained after a 2 hour firefight where forces surrounded a house on the outskirts of Nazran, near Chechnya.
Two women and six children were also injured in the skirmish. The militants are believed to be associated with a rebel group behind civilian attacks
and possibly related to the hostage-taking in a Russian school last month.

Oct 13 is the 40th (and last) day of the official mourning period from the Breslan massacre. After that, I'm guessing the gloves come off and we'll
see a lot more of this. Chechnya isn't going to be a fun place to be.
