Just watched this linked from the official rover twitter account, it truly gives a fantastic sense of being there..




The Curiosity Mars Descent Imager (MARDI) captured the rover's descent to the surface of the Red Planet. The instrument shot 4 fps video from heatshield separation to the ground.


I can't stop watching it, i'm so looking forward to the pictures when they get the full camera array up and running.
