I really hope the decent goes well. One of the most complicated landing sequences for a Mars rover. If she does land, I hope the pictures come in crystal cear and the expieriments go well.

Hopefully, life will be discovered....again.

Apparently its going to be a few days before we see the video of the landing , maybe a few weeks before the first high res picture and maybe a few months before they drive it anywhere to do some experiments.

Yes, it helps.
I usually waste a looooong time trying to figure out what the hell EDT, etc, means for me.

They should always add the UTC time of these things..

I just heard it on NASA TV so i dont really know. I guess its just going to be a lot of footage of the people at NASA monitoring the landing?

Seems a bit strange to me..Starting to wonder if misheard.

You can watch the landing in simulated 3d Eyes on the solar system

8 hours to go!

im going to go to work tomorrow on maybe 2 hours of sleep which is fine with me.

the sad thing about america is not one person i work with out of 120 will even have a clue we just landed a kick butt robot on the surface of mars over night.
