Here is a younger, more spry Obama in 2009, when hope was hope-ier and 2012 must have seemed decades rather than years away. In the speech below, Obama promises to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term:

Obama is clueless regarding the economy and I can only hope & pray that enough people see how inept Obama has been and they don't give him a second term to further destroy America's foundations.

I truely believe in the future, after enough time has passed, history will pronounce Obama as the worst President in American history.

Then there's the dreaded Obamacare, the Iraq withdrawal, the Lily Ledbetter act, forcing the auto companies to restructure before bailing them out (unlike the Wall St. bailout), cash for clunkers allowing millions of inefficient vehicles to be replaced.

Then the GOP house showed up. They've managed to pass 139 pieces of legislation, a large number of them are simply renaming post offices across the country. Real helpful. Nevermind the 60+ filibusters during the 111th congress either. Preventing everything from closing Guantanamo to the selection of a federal judge.

You know what though? Folks like you probably feel like government works best when it does nothing at all. So what do you care what Obama has or hasn't done?

You listed all sorts of things in your last post that Obama and his dem allies was involved in and yet, under his reign, everything has gotton worse with a ballooning deficit. Because of this, your list actually showed proof Obama and his cronies are bad for America. Thanks!

How could you say 'everything' is worse? Unemployment was at 8.3% in February 2009, it peaked at 10% before gradually dropping back to 8.3% this month. If anything, we're back where he started.

How about Wall Street? The so called 'barometer of the economy'? In March 2009, it was at 6626.94, today it closed at 13096.17, more than twice what it was.

How about Americans without health insurance? We had upwards of 50 million people without any form of health insurance in 2009, we pass Obamacare in 2010 and today we have 30 million without insurance, we've still got a long way to go.

You know what you should be upset about? The destruction of the middle and lower classes to benefit the upper class. Wages have gone down for everyone making less than $100,000/year but have risen, sometimes sharply, for everyone making more than that.

With that in mind, who do you want for the next four years; the guy who promises to lower tax rates for everyone making more than $250,000 a year while raising them for everyone who makes less...or the other guy?

To artificially reduce the unemployment rate, they decided not to count the people who have never found work. I forget what the cutoff period is but the real unemployment rate is around 20%. People are suffering out there and Obama is not helping. He is actually making things worse.

Look, 86% of all federal income taxes are paid by the top 25% of income earners. People making the most money are paying the most in taxes. This is not in dispute. Isn't this enough? How much more of other peoples money do you want to take. The problem is government. Government programs and regulations need to be cut in order to get the house in order. Man his entire campaign to get elected in 2008 has been nothing but proken promises, I could litteraly go on and on and on about every single one ripping his campaign speeches to pieces. How should it matter that people have stopped looking? The republican congress insists on stopping unemployment benefits past 99 weeks. I guess you're right, if the GOP can ignore the unemployed then the administration can too.

When was the last time it dropped so low? Do you not remember the tales of doom and gloom peddled by everyone? No, the 'mandate' doesn't take effect until 2014. Right now, kids are on their parents health insurance past the age of 18. Right now, people who would normally be denied due to pre-existing conditions have affordable health insurance. When the 'mandate' takes effect in 2014 more than 90% of Americans won't see any penalty in the form of tax. You keep claiming taxes are going to go up, 'just wait...they're gonna skyrocket!' If I told you the sky was falling, would you believe me? If I told you the sky was going to fall, would you believe me? If I told you Obama is going to take all our guns away, would you believe me? What's the difference?

Imagine that...if I make a million dollars I pay more money in taxes than someone who makes $100,000. Basic math. No, though, it's not enough. Then guys like you have the audacity to blame people who truly can't afford to pay a greater percentage for the deficit.

For crying out loud. That is two years of benefits. How long should we pay them? Until they die? You do realize that after a while the people stop looking because the benefits keep coming. Hell, they should make the cutoff limit only 1 year.
