Mass shooting in Aurora, CO (At Batman Film Premiere)

Sounds like a mass shooting at a mall/movie theater. I'm listening to the police scanner and have heard at least ten people are dead or not expected to survive. There are also reports of an explosion/additional explosive devices.

UPDATE:

At least 14 dead, 39 wounded.
Police aren't sure about the number of suspects.
Witnesses say shooter(s) were wearing body armor and gas masks, used tear gas before shooting.
One suspect in custody.
EOD bot checking car for possible explosive device.

I don't know. They have mentioned two shooters, and that it does appear to be coordinated. There are no details yet about who it was.

I just heard them talking about deploying bomb sniffing dogs

"Any canine units with bomb dogs report to command post"

From what I've gotten multiple Dead, least two dozen with seriously wounded that were transported to area hospitals, and several dozen with minor injuries being treated at the seen. Police are currently taking witness statements and are taking pictures of all witnesses.

Shooting occurred at Century Cinema in Aurora, Colorado.

Sad that the opening night for The Dark Knight Rises was ruined.

They're about to send the bomb robot to a car they think has explosives in it.

Just crazy.

Im listening now to. About a minute ago, they asked for a bomb sniffing dog, and are now talking about transporting a pregnant woman missing a 9 year old child and also talking about someone shot in the face.

At least 10 moviegoers were reportedly killed and 20 injured at a cinema in the Colorado city of Aurora in the Denver suburbs. They were attending a midnight showing of the new Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.

­Local media reports that two gunmen were involved in the rampage. An explosive device was set off during the shooting, injuring several people.

Its so fluid right now. I m watching the news there. Many victims, and I am sure many hanging onto their lives tonight.
