New U.S. Air Force Space Badge

Appartently the people who fly the Aif Forces space Planes are finally getting a little recognition.

I know its for other space related jobs but you know a big part of this new badge has to of came from the "Space Pilots".

It looks Russian, with a hint of Star Trek to me

I see hints of the atom symbol there too...

I don't like it too much. It looks too civilian to me. I agree with waynos. It can do withou the star and wreath above the globe. I believe the designers could have done better. Doesn't have the military look about it or something.

Wow I think Waynos is right that thing has more then alittle Star Trek influence in there. I think it looks pretty cool though I would wear it with pride if I got one.

I wonder if they have a silver and gold version like with Nasa's astronaut wings. I think you get silver wings in Nasa when you are assigned to a mission and Gold ones after you have gone up in space.

Doesn't look very 'official' it's too flashy. Looks like it belongs here rather than on some pilot.

I like it !!! It doesnt have the military flavor in it tho but i think thats good. It has teh new millinieum feel to it.

Looks like a reject prop from space above and beyond.

I also like it, it has a good flashy futuristic look to it.

I think its a little big to be a car emblem.
