On Feb. 24, Ukrainian authorities made an alarming discovery: bones and other human tissues crammed into coolers in a grimy white minibus. Investigators grew even more intrigued when they found, amid the body parts, envelopes stuffed with cash and autopsy results written in English. What the security service had disrupted was not the work of a serial killer but part of an international pipeline of ingredients for medical and dental products that are routinely implanted into people around the world. The seized documents suggested that the remains of dead Ukrainians were destined for a factory in Germany belonging to the subsidiary of a U.S. medical products company, Florida-based RTI Biologics.

I just vomited in my mouth
After reading the article and being completely disgusted, a question came to mind...when you get your license and you agree to donate your organs etc. to help others...is their a middle man making a profit from your body parts?

I don't know what "we" you are referring to.
Those monsters and psychopaths that would do anything for profit or entertainment are them.
There are human beings and then their are the others who constantly try to steer the whole of humanity to their sickness. And at this point it appears THEY'VE won. We on the otherhand maintain with our hearts and integrity intact.

There are chop shops for car and now chop shops for people. As long as money can be made people will do anything. I see a day coming when homeless people and people no one will miss just disappear into thin air. Killed and chopped for spare parts.
India has long been the world's primary source of bones used in medical study, renowned for producing specimens scrubbed to a pristine white patina and fitted with high-quality connecting hardware. In 1985, however, the Indian government outlawed the export of human remains, and the global supply of skeletons collapsed. Western countries turned to China and Eastern Europe, but those regions produce relatively few skeletons. They have little experience producing display-quality specimens, and their products are regarded as inferior.
