Thread closures.

Just a quickie, any explanation as to why this thread was closed?

5 pages long and relatively drama free considering both the subject under discussion and the level of abuse that sometime's occurs in other threads.
Only one post removed for being off-topic.
And a Moderator taking an active part in discussions and not seeing fit to admonish anyone or warn people about their behaviour.

I think it's understandable that people maybe suspicious about the reasoning behind the thread closure - a brief explanation may go a long way in clearing those suspicions.

You can reply to the mod who closed it
no need to open a thread about it because it will be closed

next time just alert the thread with the alert/complaints button or u2u the mod

I've been here long enough to know full well what I can or can't do, - I chose to open a thread because I wanted to and because I wanted all discussions etc to be done in public.

Thanks, I'll contribute to that thread - but it would have helped if someone could have provided a link and a brief explanation upon the closure of that thread.
