My father tells me that when he was younger he saw a cigar shaped ufo in the sky which was a dark grey in colour - i looked about on the net and found quite a few examples of this type of craft but all the sighting were rather old ones, is this type of ufo still seen in the skies nowadays?

Absolutely incredible. Why would you do that?

As for the pic - I concur with the other two "not funny at all".

I have my own personal unsupported theory which goes....

The actual cigar shaped UFO's are in fact sky worms which are normally transparent but in their final days of disintegration their bodies are visible. As like a worm, it has no skeleton, which is why no remains have ever been found. I do believe the sky worm has been spotted by astronauts orbiting earth, but no one yet has any explanation. The sky worm i reckon feeds on animals and humans by dropping vertically from the sky and sucking up its prey. This would explain in part some of the large number of people and pets that have gone missing without trace. Due to the current changes in the earths atmosphere these worms are dying out and therefore we are not seeing them as often as we used to.

Last time I checked, cigar shaped UFOs are still being reported.

Of course, remeber, any flying object when viewed at certain angles could appear cigar like. Like, a flying Disc might look like a cigar if tilted a certain way.

But, i still hear about flying cigars every now and then.

Of course, maybe the sightings of cigars declined after the whole Bill Clinton/ Monica Lewinsky scandal.......now we know where all the cigars went!

Insert tasteless photo here.

I, you're new, the benefit of doubt must be given... That was not funny, not even a little.

Here are a few interesting/humorous cigar references that could have worked:

The obvious approach:

Monica Lewinsky

Partner to the obvious approach:
www.tabakerka.dk..." target='_blank' class='tabOff'/>
Bill Clinton

They all went to California to be with the Governator:

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Classic approach:

Fidel Castro

Obscure approach:

Burt Sugar

See how easy that was?

That the USAF has changed models, just like they did in the 60's to diamonds etc...

Plus Cigar ones were to expensive to operate.....

Actually I was thinking along the lines of:

Comedy Counselor Monkeys, not just for humor rehabilitation anymore...

That's funny.

Yes it is. Before we get the author bent out of shape, reasonably so, we've had our fun, let's get back to the cigar shaped UFO's.

But... Sky Worms?

Maybe the Aliens decided to stop smoking Cigars?

Just a thought.

Maybe the cigar ones were BS ^ ^. There seems to be many dipictions of saucer-shaped UFOs throughout the centuries...is that the case with the cigar ones? Perhaps the cigar ones are reptilian and the saucers are the greys. Perhaps the reptilians have penis envy

Funny you should mention that. i read in some UFO book once that gave classifications and craft type by alien species. According to it, the saucer, Triangular, and diamond shaped UFOs are all piloted by the greys. The boomerange shaped UFOs are piloted by human-like aliens, such as nordics and greys. the cigar shaped UFOs were piloted by reptiles. Egg shaped UFOs were piloted by other/unknown.

A good, funny, and humorous book to get is the U.F.O. hunter's handbook, by Caroline Tiger. Its cute and funny, and makes a great gift even for people not into UFOs, becvause of its humor.

My aunt isnt into UFOs, but i got her a copy and she loved it.

Did I post that pic because I found it funny? No. But some of you can't take a search on that. I guess, none of you know, what that was...
