Having given cell phone technology a qide berth for the last 10 years, I recently procured this little toy only to expireince a dull ache in my ears after it use--be it for 15 minutes or 45 seconds. The volume is at its lowest setting, so there is no chance of it being a factor.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I know a guy who claims he may have got "tinnitus" of the ear from a certain model of phone - he experienced the same problem as you but only when he upgraded his phone to a newer model...time went on and he changed the model again and the ache went away - 3 months later he developed "tinnitus" which is a constant whine in the ear......get rid of that phone of yours and repeat after me "technology will kill us all!"

sorry this aint a cheerie reply but you could use your problem as a good exscuse to not talk to your mother-in-law

Tinnnitus is developed from repeated or constant exposure to high volumes. It isn't caused by radiation of any sort.

I got it from recklessly playing guitar in a rock band..
