Too bad Bastiat doesn't get more play.

I had one the other day tell me she thought people were only concentrating on the "bad things" about the law and ignoring the "good things".

Why are people only focused on the bad things about gravity? People should look at the good aspects of that law. Why are people only focused on the bad things about bodies in motion? People should look at the good things about that law.

Could you imagine?

I found this interesting news item a little bit ago.
www.newyorklawjournal.com...

Found this interesting..

The second part of the ACA that was challenged was the mandatory expansion of state Medicaid programs to cover more lower income individuals. The federal government currently pays about half of the costs of state Medicaid programs. Under the ACA, a state that refused to expand its Medicaid coverage would lose not only the additional federal funding provided by the ACA for such an expansion, but all federal funding for its Medicaid program.

Now, I am an independent voter, but I am unable to disagree with this paragraph. Is it not Libertarian to let a state be free of federal funding? Just askin is all.
