Will resistance to ObamaCare start a nationwide tax revolt?

I was thinking about how the SCOTUS defined the mandate as a tax and I believe that this will bring together a variety of people who unite to start a tax rebellion as foreseen by Gerald Celente?

With the US governments current spending deficit is $5 trillion a year if you use real accounting while taxes and fees for everything continue rise when wages are stagnant. There is some history of tax revolts here in the USA with the most famous being the Boston Tea Party.

The big question is will ObamaCare bring together political enemies who have a common interest... out of control taxes?

Yet, California like the federal government will not close the tax loopholes and cut spending......

This not a GOP or a DNC issue about taxes but a realization that the income of average person can not support our nations tax liability.

It's my opinion that government at any level does not need any more of our money until they learn to use properly what they have now! So lets hope the answer to your post is "YES"!

Not likely. The people of this country have proven the war between the Fed, and the individual liberty of the people, has already been lost.

There will be no solidarity for the American people in the near future. Just life under the thumb of an ever more oppressive government that will give us the honor of supporting their lavish lifestyles until they are done with us.

I don't see a revolt, what we are going to see after November is a new president in the white House that will win the elections base on the Obamacare repeal.

Romney already has changed his base line to Obamacare repeal and he will win the elections under the promises of not new taxes to penalized citizens on healthcare mandate.

Federal Bank Bailouts =$700 BILLION
Foreign Aid for Israel = $8 Billion

I dunno about nationwide but it might spur me to act with integrity and stop feeding the beast. I'm already disgusted that the "government" makes me complicit in their crimes when I pay their tribute and foot the bill for their terrorism.

This is definitely going to make me seek all alternatives. It may cost me.

There is not a wit of difference between the two major political parties. It's nothing more than a circus to keep the attention of the sheeple until they can be sheared and eaten.

Actually, didnt the real report come out at the beginning of the year, that it was 7.7 TRILLION bail out?

Romney doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the whitehouse. Because the healthcare bill he passed is very similar to Obamacare and the Dems will have no problem in pointing that out. The Dems will also point out that it was the GOP that put the mandate in Obamacare.

A tax revolt? I hope it starts at the state level. Here in Texas I pay more taxes to the state than I do to the federal government. The states are the ones robbing the normal Americans blind.

If you got someone in to fix your house and they done more damage than repair, would you pay them? Why should the government be any different? They are losing touch with the social situation, hell they even kill your own people to start a war.

In short, no.

Unless you are self employed your employer is required by law to withold tax from your pay and send it to the treasury. I suppose one could select like 20 dependants or something on the withholding forms but beyond that I see no way to have a legitimate "tax revolt".

Most of the taxes paid are collected at the register or pump so the money will continue to roll in for them.

They have through law taken away our ability to limit their spending with a tax revolt.

It is time to energize everyone who opposes the government giving some faceless, nameless bureaucrat with no medical knowledge, just a cost analysis sheet of if you are worth it or not, the power to decide if you get treatment or not.

I lived in Europe for many years. Socialized medicine is great if you have the cold or flu, but if you are old, infirm, or get a life threatening illness, forget it. You are more likely to die before you get your turn in line at treatment. You only get treatment in time if the bureaucrat thinks you are still of any value to society, otherwise you are placed on "wait lists" which are really "death watch lists".

WHAT CAN PEOPLE WHO OPPOSE OBAMACARE AND ALL IT REPRESENTS DO?:

Get out and vote! Drive people who believe as you do to the polls if they can't drive! Organize voting parties.
Make YouTube videos mocking what will happen as a result of Obamacare. Make them funny/poignant. Start and participate in challenging blogs stating your beliefs and encouraging like minded people to vote.

Take your iPhones to the polls, record and post on YouTube any and all instances of voter fraud you see before the video is confiscated.

Whatever you do, don't try and convince your liberal friends to your point of view. It won't work. The best tactic is to act humble and defeated around those who aren't going to change their minds.

Let hard core liberals think they have won. Tell them you give up and are staying home from voting. Give them every impression that Obama is a shoe in and sure to be re-elected. The more we act like that around liberals the more likely they will stay home on election day. They will talk to their friends and laugh at your defeatist attitude, yes, let them. We must now strive to make them feel superior and that they will win. That will ensure at least some of them will stay home, not vote, fat and secure they will win, until it is too late and the polls close.

It is only the like minded and those who have an open mind that you need to energize to get out and vote. We MUST secretly and quietly energize so many people that we have an army of voters who are silent but deadly.
