Ariz. congressmen: Administration has declared war against Arizona

Just like Texas passing the law that outlawed the TSA would invoke a air blockade of Texas - it is Arizona's turn. I love this line in the sand that keeps on moving - does anyone know where the line is anymore ?

Calling Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s rescission of 287(g) Task Force agreements with state and local law enforcement agencies “the Administration’s declaration of war against Arizona,” three Arizona congressmen are calling on ICE Director John Morton to reconsider the decision.

Arizona Republican Reps. Paul Gosar, Dave Schweikert and Trent Franks have signed onto a letter set to be sent to Morton Wednesday, in response to the agency’s Monday announcement that they have terminated Arizona’s 287(g) Task Force agreements — which allow state law enforcement agencies to verify the immigration status of suspected illegals.

“I write in response to what appears to be the Administration’s declaration of war against Arizona,” The letter reads. “Rather than work cooperatively with the states, as federalism requires, the Administration unwisely decided to unilaterally and abruptly terminate multiple agreements under a program that fostered federal-state cooperation in tackling a very difficult public safety threat to Americans.”

According to the trio, the only winners under the administration’s plan are the drug cartels and human traffickers.

In June 2003, Greenberg Traurig, the firm that employed Abramoff, sent $1.5 million to NCPPR, of which Ridenour distributed $250,000 to Capital Athletic Foundation and the remainder to Kay Gold LLC, both controlled by Abramoff. Ridenour said in testimony that she believed Abramoff co-conspirator Michael Scanlon was the owner of Kay Gold (Kaygold).[2]

Lets see we have Jan Brewer, Joe Arpaio, ex-county attorney Andrew Thomas, ex-senator Russell Pearce the man who authored SB1070 who was then impeached by voters.

Trust me guys not everyone in Arizona is a Neo-Nazi nut job. A lot of the elected officials seem to be but I'm not sure why.

Now we have some guy saying the U.S. has declared war on AZ. again it's getting to be embarrassing to say I live in Phoenix.

you need help - Sheriff Joe is only doing his job - he is not doing anything that I would not expect from any other Sheriff in any other county in any other state. He has balls - and well thats what we need - all of the hoopla about his profiling - is well an issue you cant protect yourself from .... now the issue here is falsifying official documents .(counterfieting is also falsifying official documents FYI - pretty much the same so you can grasp the scope of it)... ah can you say someone got their johnson caught in their zipper and time to pay for the crime. just like any other criminal. your going to see the Sheriff and his assistants - its called law enforcement. and its not a beauty pagent.
