Linkin Park and a new group called S?

I heard it on the radio the other day and this new group that has S as the band, Scarab, Scales, Scream. It's one word. But they so much sound like Linkin Park, Bah. Trying to figure out if they changed their name, or if the group disbanded. But, what is the S name? It's a new group. It's stupid simple word too. Just can't figure it out. My favorite awesome group and I will be disappointed if they disbanded.

Maybe it's a sound alike?

Hey, I really like Linkin Park as well. I saw them in concert back in 2001 with Staind, Linkin Park was doing "Hybrid Theory" and Staind was doing "Break the Cycle." It was awesome.

So the music video you have is for Linkin Park, and you are wanting to know of another band that sounds kind of like them that starts with S? I know of a band Skrillix off the top of my head, this guy likes to collab with other artists like KoRn, maybe he worked with Linkin Park on a song?

It was on Ryan Seacreast show yesterday before I went to work. It was about 4PM when he played it. That's all I know.

Might be , but I can't think of the song. Sounds about right.

Sounded exactly like linkin park though, and I was like

skrillex doesn't sound like the band though.

It was like almost exactly like Linkin Park. I mean to a tee.

Wow, I'm really interested now. I couldn't find anything about who was on his show last night on the internet, I'm looking for you, I found a band name Skillet that sounds like a mix between Evanescence and Linkin Park, though.

Wow... what is Soundgarden doing back in the top 40...

It could also be some new Shinedown or Seether you heard, I'm just going with popular S-named rock bands now.

Linkin Park is an awful band and you should feel bad for liking them.

Not sure, but I know it was about 3:50 when he played it or about 5-5:30 when he played the song. Best I can do on memory. It was actually a new band that he said here listen to it... Blah blah blah.. and vote for it.

Okay... did the vocalist sound like Linkin Park's vocalist? Shinedown has a new song Unity that sounds like Linkin Park in the intro, except I can totally tell it's Shinedown because of the vocalist.



Well, if you find the answer post it in this thread. I already searched through his most recent Top 40 list and didn't find anything. It would be cool to figure out who this new band was, though!

linkin park were my very first musical love
and i will always appreciate the world they opened up to me
but they seriously lost their way, fell into the bloated overproduced pop trap
these days i can only bring myself to listen to the hybrid demos
shed a tear for the scene that could have been..

good luck finding your S band
i could recommend a whole slew of single word S artists
but none of them would be like LP i am sorry.
