I like the sources you are referencing. As i stated, i could have done better in my thread, i just didn't have the time, but wanted to give run down on the "real" Illuminati. I read somewhere that the Illuminati had a hand in the French Revolution...i can't remember where though.

Indeed, my sources tell me the same, they also influeneced Bolesheviks revolutions in Russia, they are never far away from great changes in the world.

I've been working on my thread for a couple of months now, and it won't be complete for another few... It is absolutley amazing how these different societies interconnect, I could never really explain it all, but attempt it I shall, please look up some of the sources I mentioned they are fasinating reads, Peter Lavenda is also a good researcher, good look in your own work

The real problem comes from our misuse of the word.

"Illuminati" when used as a proper noun in historical context, refers to a specific event/group from over 300 years ago.

However in colloquial usage, our modern terminology of "Illuminati" typically refers to anyone in a position of power with insider knowledge who uses it for their own advantage. It is also assumed they consort and plot with other like minded and well positioned individuals, etc etc.

I personally use the terminology "Illuminati" in a generalized sense, referring vaguely to anyone "in the know" that uses "their power to benefit themselves or their group".

Many people get frustrated and confused when they mistakenly assume "Illuminati" is an actual group, when that is not quite the case.

The reality is that the terminology can be applied in a general sense to anyone within entire hosts of groups as long as the basic criteria are met and fulfilled.

Regardless of if the intent is there or not, there are subliminal messages in all music videos and movies, just like there are in any commercial or ads. It's all Freudian, and it's meant to make you feel a certain way without realizing their intent. You can deny the source (Illuminati or whoever), but you can deny the effects. These movies and music shape our minds whether you realize it or not.

additional note: I know your frustration and main point in the OP was about the overuse or the misuse of the term/word "illuminati". I cannot stress enough, however, that this group that you say disbanded centuries ago is probably on the winning side of whoever wrote history. It's quite obvious that they rewrote history, leaving them out, to best suit their goals of achieving global control.

Like everyone getting cancer, autoimmune disorders and so on?? I am sure they can just blame themselves eh?? Fact is that the human population is getting both sicker and dumber. You cant blame diet or increased lifespan when even kids today are getting cancer. More and more people are also getting lung cancer, skin cancer even though they do not smoke and now apply sun lotion and stay more out of the sun. Why does this happen?? Even here in Norway where UV never goes above 5 in summer we are for example on top when it comes to skin cancer. Why was this not the case decades ago? Lifestyle is only a small part of the reason.

And who the heck cares if they go under the name illuminati, bilderberger, freemason and so on. These days when people say those words they usually mean the ELITE anyways, which consists of billionaires, financial elite, big banks and probably the political elite.

It's not even a conspiracy that people ARE plotting evil and terrible things that effect your daily life. Absolutely guaranteed. Attacking people that are interested in working against these things or even simply uncovering it for their own selfish needs reveals an aggressive resistance to a basic truth.

Do you seriously believe people become leaders in business, sports, politics by accident or is there some "plotting" involved? Do you honestly believe you are aware of everything and everyone involved at the top of their game? Do you know what your favorite scientist ate this morning? Who he spoke to? What book he just finished? Is it a conspiracy? It could end up being one if there is some negative effect for anyone somewhere down the line.

Yes evil people exist. Evil people in positions of power who's power/decisions effect your life do exist. They are only boogie men if you are too afraid or lazy to admit they exist. They exist. The one's out front are on your TV everyday.

You think you can walk up to the whitehouse and have a talk with Obama and tell him he should really take a look at his orders in Libya that caused the deaths of 100k ++? No? Why not? Conspiracy? You aren't allowed. You aren't supposed to be involved. You aren't intended to know things that could potentially disrupt the planning, scheming and conspiracy of people who are at the top of their game.

Illuminati is the name of those evil people who are doing exactly what you claim doesn't exist. Just because you personally have NO idea WHY they would be doing it doesn't mean they aren't.

Would you have guessed someone would plan and conspire to kill 100's of thousands of Jews in such a systematic way? Were the reasons WHY obvious from the start?
