Hi everyone! I'm new here and wanted your opinion on a photo I took this morning. I was taking pictures in rapid succession of a hawk I saw flying outside my window, when out of the corner of my eye I saw something shoot from the right to the left - I figured it was a bird since a few swallows were flying around in the area- so I didn't think anything of it until I saw this picture. I'm a very skeptical person, but I don't think it looks like a bird. I know for a fact that there were no balloons in the sky, no planes. Just blue skies. None of the pictures before or after had the object in it - so it was moving very quickly.

If any of you know how to enhance a photo like this to make it a bit more clear, I would be more than happy to see it...

What do you guys think?

***MOD EDIT***
Not an Introduction Thread
*Closing Thread*

The Introduction Forum is for introductions To tell something about you; not to start a thread about a topic.“Intro threads” that are really “topic threads” will be removed.
Welcome to ATS, it’s time to introduce yourself.

You have posted what could be a very interesting topic in the "Introductions thread". This area is solely for introducing yourself (as you can see by browsing through other Introduction threads by new members). We apologize for this inconvenience, but its a necessity for a website as large as ours. After you have managed to get 20 posts under your belt, you can then start your own threads in their appropriate areas.

Strict code's like this are in place to help keep the machine 'running smoothly'. One of these policies is that members need to post their thoughts in the appropriate areas. I'm sure you'll understand the necessity for us having rules like this. It helps keep all the great threads and topics in their perspective areas of interest and not all lumped together, making it difficult to find when wanting to make additional comments.

With that said, I'm going to have to close this thread as it does not comply with the above stated rules. After you have managed to get 20 posts under your belt, start your own thread in one of the appropriate areas as we'd love to hear more on this subject you originally posted. Please look at the final post in this thread for more.

Thread closed, you can contact me by a private message for more information if needed after you have read the links provided above and in the final post below. Or you can also contact staff by alerting them here Complaints and Suggestions

Hi Welcome to ATS! I see you have a photo of a UFO. Honestly, I don't know what in the hell that is. At first glance it looked like dust, but now I see a Baloon-looking thing. It isn't a possible UFO, it is a UFO, you don't know what it is right? Other members will probably be here soon to help you more than I can because I honestly can't help you, as it doesn't look like anything I've seen before. Maybe a weird balloon like I said. It'll help to put how this thing moved and how fast it went and where you were at the time.

Other than that, welcome! There is an Aliens & UFOs forum here if you wanna take a look at it.

Don't mind the trolls, and don't get into pointless debates. Keep the decorum and remember: Deny Ignorance

Since this is not an introduction, this thread is closed.

Just kidding.

Cool bird.

When ever I see a "UFO" that has an angle like it was thrown from the ground my hoax radar goes off. Not saying that is the case, but as of now it does appear to be an unidentifiable object in the air (barring some editing process I am not seeing). Weither it's 'flying' or not one can not say...

I have seen orbs such as these while taking pictures of chemtrails, if you believe in them or not. They were either black or silver, but look very much like these. Great find!

Can you do better than that ?

I saw UFO, took more than 10 pics of it and still keep it to myself.
You just a single pic ? Cmon

It looks like the hawk, if that is what it is, is chasing a little bird, flapping its wings at incredible speed, hoping to end the day as much more than fec@l matter...

Even though you haven't met the minimum 20 post to start a thread, and this will probably be closed soon I will comment quickly.
It looks to me like a white bird with it's wings fully extended. You can see the head, body and tail.

Yeah, the only reason I posted here in the introduction forum is because I had to. I just wanted to hear what everyone else in the world thought this looked like. I appreciate your comments : ) It could very well be a bird (there were swallows in the area, and I know little birds do chase hawks away- I've seen it happen). But the shape seems so reflective, spherical and un-bird like. But like I said, I appreciate the feedback.

A hawk????? LOL.

That's the first angular and symmetrical hawk I have ever seen.

IMO what makes it look out of the ordinary is the body. It looks extra large in comparison to the head and tail, but I believe it is because of the angle in which you caught it.
Interesting pic though.

You DO see the big bird over/besides the ufo-white bird?... I guess you stopped reading at the word hawk. Good for you!

Are you sure that wasn't something that may have come out of the bird?

I just hope you had your mouth shut when you took that shot.

Nice try at attempting to say something humorous. Magic eight ball says, "Please try again later".

It appears the hawk is looking towards this object which makes me think it is a little lower than the hawk and also smaller. It may be a bird with a white underside with it's wings extended all the way up. Maybe the hawk ate a fish with a fishing line and bobber attached.

yeah! go girl ! Nice to see a daytime shot. Looks like a silver orb UFO. I think its REAL DEAL, the way it looks slanted is typical in "real" UFO pics. Good job !
