I thought this was interesting. Go to this page and watch the video.
Video of the launch a mix of real and software generated content explaining what is going on in the video. In Chinese, no subtitles.
launched at approx 18:40 china time (GMT+8) 16Jun12
Two men and a woman going to stay up there for 2-3 weeks.

Still no news about the 2 Chinese Moon missions, but they seem to be pushing ahead with their plans to become a space bourne nation.

Well, as I see it, the more people that are up in space, the more likely we will get to know what is happening out there.

Oh... it seems you may need an IE-like browser to watch this. Opera seems to work too but I had probs with Firefox.
edit on 16 Jun 2012 by qmantoo because: IE like broswers warning

Good luck to them

I hear China has been asking for closer cooperation between international space agency's recently

Sound good to me but i think they have shot themselves in the foot on this one to be perfectly honest, others will go it together without China, its a shame because it could have been a great venture... unfortunately i highly doubt any other space agency's will want to work closely with them ever again after the countless cases of technological theft from the Chinese,

With intention like that, good luck finding a friend that is willing to share that goal with them, there intentions are clear, and they're not to be trusted, its quite stupid of them really not like they don't have the funds to invest in there own technology & learnings instead of ripping other peoples off

Doesn't Space Law prohibit Devil's 3-Ways?

I certainly would hope so.

Stick to your gay aliens from Nibiru instead of downloading fake chinese porn at your mom's garage. Be proud that NASA still able to launch satellites using Russian rocket engines, providing you with Fox news between GM bigmacs. This is U.S. space exploration.

How can anyone be proud of lies? It is obvious to anyone not paid to believe otherwise, that there are things out there which need investigating and suppression of information and outright lies is just the tip of a humungous iceberg.

I am not saying that other countries dont tell lies as well, of course they do, but we should be working towards an open honest relationship between the government/ military and the people who pay for their breakfast.

Beautiful launch. I congratulate them. I am ashamed though that they can do what America can't do. We cannot launch people into space or orbit. Embarassing. I blame Bush and Obama for letting us down. America continues to fail.

On Sunday they showed on TV, the three astronauts manually undocking and docking again. The pictures of the three in the space craft did look real, however when they waved their flight papers about, it did not appear to me as if they were in space.

I mean, they probably were, but the pictures I have seen of NASA astronauts in space, everything is done a little slower or the astronauts seem to move in a more deliberate way, but this did not seem to be the case in the TV images shown on Sunday.

Just my impression when I was watching it. If they are really up there, then thats a good start and it looks as if they will get to the Moon in the next few years.
