The only thing these polls show is American's, like always, are braindead slaves to the tube, who probably paid no attention to the issues at hand and were concentrating on on the candidates hair, clothing, ect.

As far as I could tell in both debates, no one really won. Bush looked plain stupid and incapable of thinking on his own, without the benevolent guidance of Herr Cheney, and John Kerry looked pretty slick and smooth, like a con man trying to convince me to part with my life savings.

I'll say it again, I am still waiting for the democrats to show me one good reason why they are worth my "wasted" vote.

I for one have not seen any of the debates, as I am a UK citizen, so we generally dont see the debates, unless we tune in to american stations late at night.

What I have heard is that no one is really winning each of the debates taht are being held. If this is true then like Skadi_the_Evil_Elf said, maybe the people who are voting are taken in mearly by the image they protray, and the so called promises they are making opposed to the real issues at hand, and if not so, how they have been before !

Just an outside opinion nothing more
