WASHINGTON (AP) - Here's a head-turner for a security-nervous city: A large white object was spotted in the skies above the nation's capital in the pre-dawn hours Wednesday.

The Pentagon and DOD say this is a test mission, and will remain in the skies at least 24 hours over the D.C. area. It has surveillance and ifrared cameras capable of real time broadcast back to military commanders. I just wonder what the real mission was? Doesnt DC already have a host of cameras around the city?
