I think the European union should start lease a piece of land from the Morrocon government and send all those who show up in your airports (with or without passport) overthere until their identity is confirmed and or until their refugee status is granted or refused, in most cases they will be more than halfway back to home, plus the immigration farm will run by hired moroccon staff will be much cheaper than all these western nosepicking clerical overhead. Besides, we leave the level of hospitallity also to the Morroccan staff and you can bet many people will be discouraged by the north-african hospitallity towards the unfortunate.

Now he says he was on that plane because he wanted to pick potatoes. I guess that explains the knife and the axe...

There's got to be a logical explanation for how he got the axe onto the plane.

I believe airport security must have overlooked it when they confiscated his nailclippers and cigarette lighters!

Just a theory!

In this link it says that the perp, by the name Ibrahim Bentera brought an axe and two knives to pick potatoes.

The axe was carried in his fishingjacket. The axe was always with him to be used to chop of heads of fish.

Police specialist Aage Larsen says it is "rather sharp". (The axe)

The perp says in court, that it is not in his morale or culture to do this.
The Judge then asks if he still could. And the perps answer was; "Naturally."

In the article, there is a picture of Ibrahim Bentera to the right.
The guy to the left is his advocate.

This man, Ibrahim Bentera (34) is actually a convicted fellon back in his homecountry. He is sentenced to 10 years of prison, because of murder!

He himself, says he was only a witness to a murder of five persons.
-but had his car with all his papers torched by a group of persons that wanted him dead because of being a witness to the incident.

Since the authorities in Algerie suspected him of being a part of this group, he fled to europe, to wait for things to calm down.

Ibrahim says he suffers from depression, and blames the Government of Norway because of this, and therefor should be found innocent.

The axe-man has appealed to Supreme Court. He didn't think 15 years in prison was fair. He still claim that he is "innocent" and he demands to be released. I tell you if they let this man go free, I will loose all faith in the norwegian justice system.

He looks very "innocent" doesn't he? Who would believe that this man tried to crash a plane after attacking the pilots with an axe. Oh yeah that's right, he was going to pick potatoes... or was he going fishing...I can't remember. His shrink told the previous court (where he got 15 years) that he was sane. Now we will soon find out if the Supreme Court is too, or if they let him go...

".... police arrested the man, discovering a box-cutter in his pocket." (pravda)

Gee, is the link any more obvious? Makes you wonder if someone thought Norway was too lukewarm to the war on terwer, and needed a good sweatin'(in John D. Rockefeller's immortal words).

A cell phone call right before? No known motive? This is all a little too familiar. Sirhan Sirhan couldn't remember anything either.
