Pakistan security forces have arrested 11 alleged militants following the death of the al-Qaeda suspect Amjad Farooqi on Sunday. Two suspected accomplices, Abdur Rehman and Aqub Farooqi, have also been detained a security official said that three of the 11 suspected militants arrested were brothers from Sukkur and belonged to the outlawed Jaish-e-Mohammad group".

BBC NEWS
Interrogators said the accomplices told them Amjad Farooqi was responsible for the assassination attempt on prime minister designate Shaukat Aziz in July. Mr Aziz escaped unhurt but nine people died.

Pakistani intelligence also suspected Amjad Farooqi of involvement in two assassination attempts on President Musharraf last December and in the killing of US journalist Daniel Pearl.

Pakistan's anti-terror strategy

"The intelligence agencies have noticed a significant movement out of Pakistan of Islamic militants of Middle Eastern origin. Arab militants have simply found Iraq a more fertile ground, where they can melt away easily and have Americans and other Westerners as easy targets officials suggest."

To some extent I agree with that quote from above But I think its the little less known Militants that have moved out and gone into Iraq to " melt away". Since Pakistan have made some key al-Qaeda arrests from 2002 -04 if they can keep this up this will break some of the al-Qaeda/militant structure for sure.
