Obama is not standing in front of a green screen during his Bagram speech...

In another thread, many, many people are saying that Obama is standing in front of a green screen during his Bagram speech last night. Check this video out and you will see Obama come from behind the vehicles at the beginning, then walk back behind them afterwards. This can not be green screen.

Now, whether or not the speech is staged, I don't know. That's not my argument.

Those effects can be faked, you can set layers for green screens...

It does look off, but I suppose that could be the lighting...

But because he walked behind an object that doesn't mean its not faked.

if anything the background looks too sterile.

ill be the first to admit it looks like i might be wrong on this one.

This makes me jump to the conclusion that someone infact doctored the start and the end of the other link, in order to spread a hoax. I still dont agree with what hes saying, but this proves he wasnt in front of a screen.

I haven't seen the other thread but just from this one.it is clear that the one he walks in between are real But it does seem set up like its in a stage not just a hanger but at an empty hanger area. Its just to quiet!

I watched it live and this is how it happened live. If it was doctored, it was doctored before it aired on national television.

No green screens there. Then again, he is, nor was never in Afghanistan either yesterday

Someone in another thread also posted an very intriguing thought, could it be made to look like a green screen so this is what gets peoples attention, and not his actual speech?

I agree, it does look weird, but it's not a green screen. It must be the staging of it. Do you have an example of an effect like this where someone walks out of the green screen in one camera shot?

Looks like it was filmed in 2006 by some dude messing with his computer...

2012, gov budget, anything is possible, the effect would either require a second screened object, say a large box shaped like the truck for obama to walk by, its not hard to figure out how to do it.

Just the question is WHY.

I didn't miss that. What I was referencing was that the subject is about there being a green screen behind him, not if he is in Afghanistan. So we agree on the green screen part. As far as his location, I don't know what to believe on that.
