Emmelyn Roettger loves to write, spell and count. She’s so fascinated by science and space that she rattles off details about nebulas, black holes, Saturn’s rings and Jupiter’s size with ease. She knows that another term for cell division is “mitosis,” and that caterpillars turn into butterflies through “metamorphosis.”

According to the article it was a 4yr old girl from england that had the 1 point below Stephen Hawking not Emmelyn Roettger.

Still its a great achievement

Good Grief....Children that age are sponges, and repeat stuff parrot fashion. Obviously her parents have trained her.
Many children are like this. Means nothing.

How Many "Mensa" people are multi Billionaires and have saved the World?

Not many..if any. The majority of Billionaires never had degrees.

Most of the Worlds greatest minds and inventors over the eons, never even finished school.

Necessity is the Mother of Invention. (Free thought, persistence etc)...

Not the number of pegs you can put in a hole in 60 seconds.

I was just reading about this on FB and I think it's a great thing yet I feel for her. I don't think she will ever have a normal childhood now. She will be put on display. I really hope her parents don't let that happen and let her be a child at the same time.

What does one get from being in Mensa other than saying you are in Mensa?
