What really happened... [MAD]

Everyone got up and started yelling out their windows as the television had instructed, just like every other day. They then proceeded to finish their dinners, maybe have some dessert, and they all went to bed. The next morning they awoke and continued their miserably boring lives as if nothing had happened, and continued to obey the instructions of the television.
