From CNN: www.cnn.com...
"Five suspects, some of whom describe themselves as anarchists, were arrested after allegedly conspiring to blow up a bridge near Cleveland, the FBI said Tuesday.

"The public was never in danger from the explosive devices" because an undercover FBI agent was involved and the explosives were inert, the bureau said in a news release."

Fortunately, many home-grown terrorists ask around to buy explosives and get the FBI to sell it to them. It is truly fortunate that most of these losers aren't skilled enough to make their own explosives.

Why is it every time we "stop a terrorist" it's always an FBI agent convincing the terrorist to be terrorist to begin with? Then when they terrorist try to carry out their terrorist acts with their terrorist weapons supplied by the FBI the FBI jumps out and shouts to the World "Look! We got another one!"

It's getting old.

Indeed. They set up the entire scenario. Fake bomb and the works, then they gotta find someone to agree to push the detonator. Hey if they don't continuously manufacture pretend terrorism, citizens might not be frightened enough to surrender their freedoms. Its just good business

Why does the FBI always seem to be involved?

some examples:

www.fbi.gov... 2010

roguemedia.org...

Gotta question this....

or, perhaps, bad guy wannabes ask around about bombs and bomb makers, fbi gets wind of it, steps in, provides phony bomb and then busts guys when they try and use it.

if they run around convincing innocent individuals to blow things up and then provide phony weaponry for the mayhem, they are committing entrapment which would result in the charges being dropped and the innocent folks being released,

So far, nobody's been released based on their being entrapped so I'm going with my first explanation.

makes more sense

Reminds me of that guy who was framed up by FBI(according to the guy) about a month ago, who wrote into the guardian, saying FBI was trying to put guns in his hand, and get him to say he hated america... tried to blow the whistle on it to the major press, and was arrested the next day by FBI....

Too lazy to search for a link right now, but it was a big topic on ATS
