Ever heard of innocent until proven guilty?

All we have to go on is MSM reports that he killed them. And then they blew him up.

Reports are, he was found in a pool of his own blood with a gun....

Its called common sense and evidence.
What evidence do we know of that supports
any other theory? Everyones dead, case closed
to the cops, collect the evidence they can and
help the rest of the surviving family move on.
All evidence points to murder suicide, if there is any
other evidence, all waiting to see it..
The laptop with the pics led them to the bunker,
it was his laptop and he was in the shelter, they tracked
down. Family was first thought of have burnt all to death
in the house fire until they found evidence of a gas can
over the stove, gun shot wounds found on the wife and daughter,
was no house fire, and the only one in the family unaccounted
for was found in his bunker... Numerous things could of happened,
wife said she was tired of it wanted a divorce, he shot and killed them.
He could of asked them to come to bunker and they refused trying
to call the authorities... Gun forensics and other csi will be taken before
the case is totally closed. He could of been schizo was hearing voices
to kill them and himself before it was too late.. Looking at the facts, evidence,
and them findind him cowering in a bunker is a pretty strong case..
Still have not seen evidence to support anything else..
This happened wed. the murders did. Police pieced it together, figured it out
friday. Will we ever be able to answer why? No but who, yes.

When I posted I had not heard he shot himself.

I merely asked if it was proven that he killed his family.

Doesn't seem like an unwarranted question to me. I was wondering if he actually fired at the cops before they blew up the roof of his bunker.

It seems that they are trying to make survivalists look bad lately, and this is a conspiracy forum last time I checked.

But if you feel I shouldn't question anything that MSM reports, that's your prerogative.

At this point none of us know what happened exactly.

I do think this is a way to make a crack down on preppers myself. I also think its a way to have the common person so fearful of the survivalist that they will report anyone going into a wooded area with a paperbag fearing that there is an underground bunker this person is supplying. If this guy was prepping for 8 years I'm sure someone in the goverment noticed it and knew there was a bunker even if they didnt inform local police officals.

For example I went out a few weeks ago and bought a supply of food in cans that didnt total too much only around 150.00 dollars. I used my bank card to pay and within ten minutes my phone is ringing. The bank was calling me to "verify my purchase" I said why are you calling me about this purchase and the man informed me it was because of the amount of money spent. I informed him I spent twice as much the week before on car repairs at a garage, used the same card and no one bothered to call me and verify that transaction.

Point being "someone" is watching what your buying all the time so someone noticed him. And even when you pay for things in cash that is another HUGE red flag of being a terrorist according to homeland security so that gets noticed as well.

And the truth about why or if he killed his family and himself will never really be known because there is no one to fight to say the information provided by police is accurate or not. This is just a quick close case. Its just a sad situation all the way around.

Guys like this are giving our crowd a bad name. Most likely all of us Americans who attend this Site have extensive FBI files. Probably flagged for every paranormal/conspiracy/prepped/survivalist website we attend.

Agreed. Underground shelters are certainly demonized unless sanctioned by the dominant State. Good examples are the Vietnamese war tunnel systems, Hitler's bunker and Saddam's hidey-hole. The D.U.M.B complexes in the U.S. are an example of state-sanctioned shelters. Very few people could be convinced to be up in arms about the idea of the existence of these.

The idea of small-scale community or family shelters create an aversion in the mind of the every day Joe because it signifies doubt or mistrust in the government. A good film which demonstrates all the emotional connections to underground survival shelter is the following:

I know this thread appears to be dead by now but I saw today that a video diary was released.. he'd apparently been planning this for quite some time..I don't think the whole video has been posted though because one news source said he mentioned he wouldn't have to worry about his daughter or wife anymore because they'd be taken care of and it would be just him.. describing him as a doomsday believer..

If that's the case.. it almost sounds like he's one of those that believes so strongly that the end is coming, apocalypse or utter mayhem .. that he killed off his family so they wouldn't have to deal with it and then he would just live out his life as a criminal until he was dead either at his hand, by being caught or whatever.
