Highway grinds to a halt in memorium

Purposefully the opposite of "unrest" - but worth checking out, not sure this would happen on the M25. This happens every year, I'm just sharing someone elses clip (I had no knowledge of this event beforehand).

It's the day Israel respectfully acknowledge victims of terrorism and fallen soldiers: en.wikipedia.org...

The day opens with a siren the preceding evening at 20:00 (8:00 pm), given that in the Hebrew calendar system, the day begins at sunset. The siren is heard all over the country and lasts for one minute, during which Israelis stop everything (including driving, which stops highways)

And it's a nice gesture, especially in today's rush-hour society...

Amazing how everyone stop at the highway for a moment of silence in honor for the IDF soldiers.

What about the police on the way to the bank robbery? Do they stop? Or the fire engines? Ambulances?

Just joking around. I do think it's an awesome gesture.
