Free Electricity.

Could we obtain electricity from the temperature differences in the sea. I'm thinking of a system connecting the oceans hundreds or even thousands of miles apart at different temperatures generating a current.

Need more details as to how this would work ?

Anyways, we already have the technology for free electricity (hydro, solar, wind, geo-thermal), but nobody wants it. We deserve what ever happens as a result. We could power probably two earths forever if we REALLY gave a crap. The reality of it is simple, Its obviously more important for humans to spend trillions of dollars on cloths, nice cars, reality TV, make-up, landscaping and lots of other non-relevant things then to improve our chances for survival and help others.

the ultimate goal is that every single device we own big or small powers itself indefinetly. Grid based energy infrastructure will become an archaic concept in the next 30 years.
