The Fox News employee hired by Gawker to write about his experience inside the network has revealed himself as an associate producer on “The O’Reilly Factor.” Joe Muto, who joined Fox News in 2004, says he has been suspended, with pay and was escorted out of Fox News headquarters today by “two nice gentlemen from security.”

At 8:42pm tonight, Muto wrote on Gawker:

Two hours ago I was called into a meeting with Dianne Brandi, the Fox News Executive Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs and suspended indefinitely… with pay, oddly enough. They nailed me.

This story is 100% legit. Fox news is going to the extent of even persuing legal action against him. Seems he was a mole for 8 years?? I cannot wait to update this thread with his story.

He apparently will be back tomorrow with some interesting stories to tell about his time on the o reilly factor... I actually like the o reilly factor, even being a liberal independant. Now I know some will say hes a liar or disgruntled employee... But I would wait if I were you, he isnt disgruntled, he went there wit ha mission and got fired once caught, and Im going to assume he has proof for his claims.

I'll take him at his word and say it's because I believe him that he's a scumbag.

I'd feel the same way if someone popped up from the center of the DNC or the Obama campaign to reveal themselves as some self crusading mole to betray everyone who trusted them....

Trust and Honor is something I'm really really strong on on a personal face to face level. I can't stand betrayl when it's personal and it just couldn't get more personal than this for the people who worked around this guy for years. Booo..

....S/F went for the thread though. lol.. I keep forgetting it's not always taken for granted these days that I may get annoyed at the story but not the OP sharing it.
Nice catch on it.

There is no honor amongst thieves. Save honor for people that matter. These propaganda, war drumming msm scum are all garbage.

Fair enough and the MSM isn't a bastion of ethics or human decency, I'll agree. Even a sewer has it's particularly 'ripe' spots and scum among the scum.

No one likes a traitor and as rare as an honest to goodness infiltrator that isn't carrying a badge and getting a paycheck for it may be, actually seeing one just reminds me why they're really the worst turd in the toilet.

Working at a place for EIGHT LONG YEARS.... imagine that?? I was trucking for 15 and it seems a life time. 8 years as a mole?? That is almost what I'd call an illness. Undercover law enforcement is something I can understand. Personal like this is an obsession that strikes me as sick on some level. Politics entirely aside.

The spy who came in from the Bold (fresh, etc) should have some great stories to tell. O'Reilly is about to be outed as whatever it is he really is, and the worse thing about this story is that Keith Obermann doesn't have a show to highlight this spy guy for three or four nights in a row.

Name and town, name and town.

That sounds like bad news for Media Matters.

I wonder how the MSM will spin this?

Whatever O'Reilly's politics and show, I'm surprised anyone would wish anything negative on him. He has as much right to his show from his political perspective as anyone on MSNBC or anyone else for that matter. I don't particularly care for the politics of Angelina Jolie and I pretty much detest the politics of Oprah but I respect them both as much as Bill O'Reilly for how much they do with their money in each case, quietly and without any effort to get recognition. They just do it and 'it' is a great deal.

I don't wish the other two well in ratings but that is the literal extent of anything I care about in anything but the best for how they work out for...their side..of the audience they play to.

The Factor is the Number 1 show in the ratings.

Bill O'Reilly is fair & balanced.

His trusty sidekick Jesse Watters is also very good.

AWESOME! I can't wait till we get the de-briefing. I wonder what kind of manipulative brainwashing methods that Faux-N.. Err.. sorry, I mean FOX-News uses and has used will be revealed by this (a bit insane) gentleman! I would love to have some more insight on how the MSM operates behind the scenes to brainwash the masses.

I wonder if these scumbags who sold their souls to destroy our society actually have casual conversations about Psy-Ops and COINTELPRO that they use on the people.

IT--

O'Reilly's show is fair and balanced? You're quoting their propoganda line. If one of his hired blondes disagrees with him, she's replaced with the next blonde in line before you can say "luffa". He tapes his interviews so if someone gets the better of him that part is snipped out. And when one of his rare other-viewpoint guests starts making a good point, he raises his voice and talks over them until they either stop their point or turn on O'Reilly.

Unfair and unbalanced, as this new spymole will undoubtedly further expose, on a daily basis.

The story will not be about Fox News or The Factor.

It will be about the mole. Who he is and why he did it.
-------

This story is similar to the NBC EditGate Scandal.

The Factor is the number 1 show for a good reason.

Even Jon Stewart appears on The Factor.

O'Reilly show is Fair & Balanced. Laura Ingraham does a great job guest hosting.

Somehow I doubt that.

It's not personal, it's business. They signed a check, he offered a service. I doubt the guy has anything explosive, it would he out by now. Perhaps little more than "O'reilly is a dick", but everyone with sense knew that.

Sorry, Joe, but a mole is a spy sent in to spy, and I think you are merely an employee (disgruntled?) revealing interesting/uninteresting workplace culture. antonia is right; Bill has already been exposed to have anger, ego, and relationship issues, so I doubt you could add anything about him. And we already know that Bill stops spin in order to spin it the other way. Nah, this is no big deal.

Out of all the political turds on T.V, I have come to despise O'reilly.

He thinks hes always right, and anyone who thinks differently than he does is either insane or a "pinhead".

When in fact 99 percent of the time hes usually the pinheaded one.

If he doesnt like what they have to say he shuts them up, and theres nothing they can do about it cause its his show.

Oreilly needs to go IMO.

The only reason he is number one is cause of his time slot and the fact that theres still A LOT of old people around. heh
-sorry grandma

We live in a world where our so called mass media is nothing but lieing puppets so I support any action taken to get information to the people which could possible expose the massive level of lies taking place. Bill is a liar and a talking head for the morons in power and I really hope these morons get taken down.

IMO since the average IQ of an American is 92 it also does not surprise that he gets high ratings because sheep will be sheep. I have never heard O'reilly say one intelligent thing ever, its all anger hate and propoganda so I think anything that gets rid of his kinds is for the better of our species.
