The Raw Story

Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Sunday defended his promise to “vigorously” fight a war on pornography by accusing President Barack Obama’s administration of “exposing children” to risk by not enforcing existing laws.

In an undated statement on his official website, the former Pennsylvania senator asserted that “America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography” because Obama’s Justice Department was favoring “pornographers over children.”

“Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships,” the statement says. “It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.”

“Current federal ‘obscenity’ laws prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops and through the mail or by common carrier,” the statement continues, adding that these laws should be “vigorously enforced.”

Sounds to me like Santorum is targeting the "ObamaPorn" complex
(if there even is one)

No mention of pornography in ObamaCare that I know of

Santorum literally nominated Sandusky for a "Congressional Angels in Adoption Award"

You can't make this stuff up...

Santorum, who has cultivated an image as a clean-cut social conservative trumpeting family values, nominated Sandusky for a “Congressional Angels in Adoption Award,” after Sandusky had already been accused of at least five cases of child molestation.

With his extreme views on porn and homosexuality it begs me to wonder what he is hiding in the closet. I would not be surprised if his PC is loaded with porn and he has 'casual' meetings with other men behind closed doors.

The thing is, who is going to endorse porn?

Santorum is using this to promote his campaign. The problem is, it's like running a campaign on the platform that punching kittens is bad.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. We get it.

Now get off the porn-mobile, Baman and say something of SUBSTANCE!

Santorum is just going after every guilty religious voter.

Right now, there are a lot that are still voting for Romney because they think he is the best bet to beat Obama. What Santorum is doing is trying to guilt them all into switching their vote.

It's hilarious that the Republicans are going to try to win this on social issues...that alone is a huge endorsement for Obama's economic policy...because they are running directly away from trying to go up against it.

Wow I've watched a lot of porn in the last ten years and all I have to say is I've never once wanted to hit a woman. It caused me to definitely think about other things with women though. Maybe religious people shouldn't make laws about sexuality, seeing as how they consider the act immoral. Personally I want to know what kind Of BDSM Santorum is watching, that may be where his view of Mysogenism is coming from because those videos can get pretty dirty.

Provided that choice does no harm to another or their property.

The Republican party has become a joke. The fact that Santorum still has a chance to be their nominee is proof of that.
