It doesn't have to be that the woman lied, or was subtly motivated to remember her experience like that. It is totally plausible that the man said this thing. People who want to be in power can make up any excuse they want. But neither is it a part of Islam, nor is such behaviour endemic to the Muslim population in Norway or Europe or anywhere else.

But yeah, sure, I suppose it is also plausible that he was a plant.
