Yeah....... I could understand a biggie or pac line here or there but when you rip entire verses its BS. I don't care when it's from, everything after tha carter II completely crashed and burned. when he made enough money after jackin everyone's stuff he used ghost writers instead because he's not creative enough. that's not talent, and not respectable in any way.

most of his stuff is just straight up stupid and he looks and sounds straight up embarrassing. I can think of a lot stupider rappers but he's definitely on my top 5.

ehm hell YEAH!

because rapping about 'sucking a lollipop' and 'having more bitches on your stick then Harry Potter' isn't rap at all.

Lil Wayne is an autotune fail.

Furthermore Immortal raps about things that matter and pertain to us ALL.

I don't care if Lil Wayne has got a new grill in his mouth, drives 50 cars, has 10 mansions and god knows how many gazillion dollars.

Because once again that is NOT rap.

Hiphop has lost its roots, Wayne is a prime example of that.

Please bro...seriously? Autotune is only 1/4 of his tunes, and I HATE it personally, so you got me there

Listen to a milli. Pure genius....BUT, I have to admit that B.O.B. With Wayne on "strange Clouds" is one of the best songs over the past 5 years. GD it's good.....

you ´bro plz-ing' me?

you go on to cite 'a milli' as 'pure genius'.

the only thing he is right about in this song is that wayne says he is like 'vanerial disease'.

compare that piece of 'pure genius' to any of these from immortal technique (since we're comparing him to immortal)

he comes short on everything.

lyrics, message, deliverance etc.

you name it wayne fails.

listen to the song above and tell me wayne ever has gone that deep.

man i could cite another 15 examples but quite frankly, imho, any IT song beats lil wayne's crap.

Just because someone talks about politics or world issues doesn't automatically mean they are good. If you are going to talk about world issues at least be creative about it. He doesn't say anything clever or witty like a GOOD lyricists does. He just whines about congress and wars. Be creative about it, I don't want to feel like I'm watching the news

As for the first vid you posted. Nature did that sample so much better.

never implied that.

allthough immortal is da shiznit.

I'm not hooked on immortal if you think that.

Maybe you should also give RA The Rugged Man a try, pretty creative with words as well.

He doesn't say anything clever or witty like a GOOD lyricists does.

I beg to differ.

He just whines about congress and wars.

No he does not.

Be creative about it, I don't want to feel like I'm watching the news

Rofl

just wanted to say that my appreciation for Immortal has a lot more to it then him being a rapper.

an ex-con that turned his life around.

is smart, out-spoken, intelligent and puts his money where his mouth is.

he actually does something about the things he raps about, as he is involved.

in all the interviews i've seen with the guys he conducts himself very well.

he can back up what he thinks and believes.

imho this is what makes him great.

Let me say this about Immortal Tech: he was offered a bunch of money by some record label: but they would tell him what he could rap about or not. He declined, because he didn't want to be told what to rap about. Not a sell out, how many people can you say that about?

I love Immortal Technique, but he is not the greatest emcee. I would say Dj Kno is the best emcee/producer of the past 10 years.

(2nd verse)

Just a few examples
