ANON VIDEO - Explaining their actions!

I've done a search for any updates on the CIA DDOS attack and couldn't find anything.
The following RT article has a video attached that member may wish to see.

I sometimes wonder about ATS and all the debating that goes on and on and on - and apart from spreading information - sometimes very useful information - do the discussions serve any other purpose than to stroke Egos if the contributor turns out to be right and dampen the enthusiastic spirit of those deemed wrong.

Do we as members make any effective contribution to society as a whole? And if so, what do you think it is?

There has been many debates as to the effectiveness of the ANON GROUP but at the end of the day - they do appear to be actually doing something. And here, they even explain their actions and possible mistakes. Was it a mistake?

TextElsewhere in the YouTube statement, the person taking credit for the video says that the assault on the CIA was not wholly endorsed by the entire Anonymous collective and acknowledged that members of the group “have the capacity for the same errors of judgment and mistakes that everyone does.” “Regardless of the reason it’s used, we are united under common goals, for the common good.”

I didn't even know they had brought that site down. But what they're saying is they didn't mean to bring it down, it's only one bad anonymousy that did so ...

But my question here is, how come it wasn't brought up as a big thing. This is the first I've heard of this site take down!
