Perhaps there is room for discussion, sure, but unless the English language has endured some fundamental changes, the evidence provided above seems self explanitory to me.

There is a difference between an army fighting around the Globe, and the whole Globe fighting..

Then again....

It's hard to imagine World (Global) War III can start while WWII is still being fought, or at the very least there is still conflict about it, and the psychological battlfield still exists concerning it.

This is like posing in a traditional spartan outfit, with a spear, shield and the spartan helmet etc. That doesn't make you a spartan, but it sure shows that you are identifying yourself with the idea or way of fighting, thinking etc.

Perhaps it is like the "World Series" baseball.

this being a thread on the true WW3, yes true WW3 name one country we are not in involved in or have in our sights, er cross hairs, can you? name one law that has been passed not terror related er no terror package attached, could you? Yes the war on terror is the new WW3, affecting, infecting, and effecting every one, every place on earth, no nation will be spared the turmoil, the laws, or the out come, as bush said" your with us or your against us", the "P"act and NDAA2012 Sub Sec D 1021 1022 is only a small part, there will be more to come, places like Iraq and Afghanistan, are just 2 of the many nations to soon become influenced. Pakistan, Libya, Syria and Iran, Egypt as well.
China, North Korea will soon be forgotten, for they too will stand with US on the war on terror, ask UK and Russia.

Who are the terrorist and who is the good guy, a fine line is being drawn to define this, there will be no sitting on the fence with this one.
A do nothing will be just a guilty as the one that did something , unless that is seeing and saying( and that is a defining line in it self).

Heh the military used to give victory medals, now its just campain medals. The GWOTSM is an auto-award. Just go sign the dotted line and you can get one. When WW3 shows up there will be a new medal designated for it, the office in charge of awards likely already has a design in place.
