Just stumbled across a website here that claims that the black box" flight recorder has been recovered from the downed UFO in Roswell, 1947. The news article above claims that the Roswell UFO didn't crash but was shot down. Not the most reliable of sources but there are plenty of other sites listed on google if you type in "roswell ufo black box". Interesting story anyway!

I have heard several stories regarding Roswell, everything from the UFO was affected by US radar that screwed up its propulsion system, to it being shot down with an experimental anti-aircraft missle.

The one thing that remains constant throughout all the stories and counterstories is that the government lied to us.

nice find tandino.

"The UFO came not only from space but the future as well -- as evidenced by a reference to astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon."

anyone know what reference he is talking about here?

"The extraterrestrials came with an urgent warning for mankind"

when don`t they? be nice if they had just come for a drink and to hang out.

Whilst lookin into the other news story came across a webchat transcript with Gordon Cooper, one of the original Mercury 7 astronauts. This extract is regarding alien life:-

"David Bychkov, Alexandria, VA from rasserver.net at 2:05pm ET
Dear Sir, During the Cold War, the Soviet Union did quite a bit of research on this subject. Is it possible that the answers to some of your questions may lie somewhere in Kremlin archives?"

"Gordon Cooper at 2:06pm ET
Yes, I know that they had done a lot of work on the subject, and there is a possibility that they may have some answers."
