This is an amazing discovery and very odd. What are these "Blue Dots" in cilindrical shape detected by this guy in Virgo Constellation on Google Sky? Glitch or Real Objects...

There are 58 of this "blue cilindrical objects"... lined....

S&F. Absolutely fascinating! Thanks for posting.

I'll be sure to keep an eye on this thread to see how the explanations develop.

I'm looking in my google-earth (PC installed version, not via their website) and can't find what he is seeing.

ETA Looked all round, couldn't find a thing. I guess it's a glitch.

I am on Google Sky now and I see the line of blue when I select Virgo under constellations. I took a screenshot of it and I am trying to figure out how to post it now. It is clearly a streak of blue but you can't zoom in on it any further to see the individual cylinders.

I just went to Google Sky on the internet...not the installed version...I assume if I would have installed it I probably would have better zoom capabilities.

I like a good sci-fi movie with invading space-ships and pulverizing particle-beam generators and that is maybe why I think that all the anomelies we see in the skies are signs of the presence of such ships. Probably cloaked...

Just joking...
...But how would such signs look like if it were real....? Flocks of birds falling dead out of the skies maybe...as if they flew full force into an invisible forcefield maybe....or zapped by it?

Like this news article...HERE

Or huge strange circle cloud formations like this picture....HERE

I don't know...I've seen too many sci-fi movies..

If it were anything surely Google would have removed it by now.

Definitely something different for a change, I'm going to say glitch, but a part of me wishes it were something more.

Yeah....Ow.....my side hurts

ETA: After seeing the Mods note, I just want to say I wasn't mocking this thread...it's interesting. I was laughing about the fact that someone else was as "google earth" handicapped as I am.

In this "little image" cropped from Google Sky there are TWO "Blu objects" perfecly lined.
Scroll bar.
I don't think that it is another blu galaxy.

I still search for the others and if they are really lined...

I have been looking on Google Sky and I don't see what he sees at all!

There are no ships there, nothing. The only thing I see is this in that area.

I have looked all over GS for thirty mins at least.

Three Blue Objects in this other image and one of them is not lined.

those are all over google sky as are many other things that when zoomed in enough can look like a spaceship fleet.

Maybe google sky uses colors to estimate distences of certin galexies? very blurry so it will be hard to get a definate answer.
