If there is any "miscarriage of justice" here it is in declaring someone to be "insane" to prevent him from being given a fair trial. And what is the alleged basis for declaring his insanity if not the alleged actions for which he was supposed to stand trial!

This is an obvious move by the state to circumvent the rights of a political prisoner, and if you can't see that, it's because you're too dumb to see it.

Another example, if not the greatest example as of yet, of when Civilized Society gets too smart for it's own good.

I TOTALLY agree that he should not spend another minute in jail, wasting money etc. With this determination by certified specialist-as deemed by their court system.

So, I believe he should be put to death---- right now. Thin out the heard. He apparently isn't able to live in our world and only wants to harm those in our world. He is an Enemy of the State. Execute him now. (and nice and slowly).

But, that's just me. So, let's ask the family members and other loved ones what they want done with him. We'll go with the majority decision (I wonder what that would be-hmmmmmm)

Well a Lawyer for the victims family's have said this...Before the report was made public, a lawyer for the victims said it did not matter what the conclusion was as long as Breivik was not allowed to go free.
They didnt say put him to death etc and you saying do it nice and slow is just sick.

Not true at all, you can't tell if someone who is mentally ill just by looking at them and alot hide it very well and it only comes out when they either hurt themselves or others.

Yeah but he had friends, he had a business and he lived with his mom. So you would think someone might have noticed something.
Also when I type "psycho" I do not mean psychotic. This is not my field of expertise so I generalize with that "psycho" meaning "mentally ill"

And this is the problem mentally ill people face everyday, there is a stigma against it you use the word Psycho to tar everyone who has suffered from mental illness which is wrong.

What I would be asking is how he got illegal parts of a weapon from the US without the border police intercepting it,
I think there will be an inquiry into this and the Goverment of Norway will have a lot of explaining to do.

If he was psychotic and I have serious reservations about that!
For me he was carrying out a mission!
There is far more to this than folk realise and its got something to do with one of the victims and the rest just a smokey!!
They say that when you have nailed your target the best way to hide what you are doing is to wack at random then nobody will ever suspect your initial intentions or plan!!!
Fruits and nuts are rarely nice together!!

He isnt a psychopath he has been diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic completely different.

www.patient.co.uk...

en.wikipedia.org...

If you read the differences are massive.

I fully understand the differences (studied p many years ago). I did not say he was a psycho, quite the contrary!!! I said I had serious reservations!!!

Nor do I believe he is a ps! Infact I thing he clever and just brainwashed determined!

More in this story than the public know, for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe the same could be said about you. You apparently haven't seen enough. I have.

See, I can make my point and not insult---even for one who should be.

Happy Holidays

Must admit reading more into the story and the fact the people he killed was the youth division of the ruling Norwegian Labour Party, the conspiracy theorist in me does start to jump up and down....

should have figured..

they'll stick him in a mental ward for a couple years put him on medication.
then turn him loose to murder more innocent people.
No such thing as justice in western countries anymore.

A real cynic might also point out that this will avoid a very public trial and raise a lot of very uncomfortable questions. But, who'd be cynical enough to think that?

Sounds just like Martin Bryant.
The court case, evidence and all other details that showed outside involvement was snapped shut and kept from public view....

Didn't this smell of psy-op from the beginning? I'm shocked that anyone is buying the insane card this time. It's all too convenient to be real. I stand firmly on the side of conspiracy in this case. Can't help it. Just like Jared Loughner...no way he was a lone nut either. C'mon people.

What illegal parts? And I don't care if that "psycho" term is offensive to "mentally ill". It's not rude. It's a generalization.

I find it very rude and Iam sure that people who suffer from mental illness do as well.....
Its like calling someone with depression a pycho because he/she has a mental illness.
Anyhow the mag's he had are illegal in Norway but got them from a US based website.

I suppose they will give "special medicine" and he will be trapped in his own mind. I hope that this mind of his is as evil as his doings and he will be in a living hell. No person should be allowed back in society when his/her deeds goes totally against societies ways.

Flip side of the coin, I can see a conspiracy here. No trial means that they can hide things from the public

The trial will be going ahead as before, it's just the final sentence that will change if the court declares him mentally ill. And its up to the court, not these two psychiatrists. The man is definitively insane though, apparently rambling on about how he will end up as the leader of Norway and how he is going to breed Norwegians in special areas!
