He looks freaked, and totally distracted. He just got tossed under the bus, IMO. Too many toxic stings that tie to him, for the current administration to deal with. Needless to say, I'm glad to see him go. When his speech is up on a video, I'll try to post it. If someone else finds it first, please post.

Thank You.

Bu-By Barney....now you have some time to get some decent teeth...

He's a big fat mess. I don't know how some of these people get into positions of power. Would anyone here trust this man to babysit their kids?
The area he represents is a cesspool, the Taunton & New Bedford, MA. areas have the most retarded humans I've ever met in my life. I use to work with mentally retarded adults from that area, there are so many disabled people there, plenty of work in that field if anyone is desperate for a job.

It's great he's retiring, but he has a lot to say. Take a listen.

I'm glad this scumbag is leaving. He brought us the housing bubble 1.0 and has tried like hell to create housing bubble 2.0. He's a horrible Congressman and an even worse human being. I'll have a toast on the day he gets to reunite with Ted Kennedy. 2 roasting piggies.

Sorry the video wouldn't load for me. It is presented with Silverlight, and I don't care to download the software to my computer. Is this his retirement speech? TIA.

Barney is one of those die hard, good old boy politicians, that would not just up and retire on a whim. He's of the "you'll have to pry my power out of my cold dead fingers" ilk. His announcement appeared rushed, phony, and he looked like a deer caught in the headlights. A nice push out the door for him, compliments of his party.

It's interesting, Nancy Pelosi had that same look when she lost her throne...
