Newt Gingrich surprisingly received a very strong endorsement from New Hampshire's largest newspaper - the Union Leader - just six weeks before the state's election.

Will it put Newt on the path to victory, previously assumed by Mitt Romney?

Well things like this do show Newt is as much the politician and wheeler/dealer as he always was. He can sling it with the best of them and he can buy, bribe or outright steal his way into what he wants, at least in this early stage of elections. What he can't very well do is convince the American people that he isn't part of the problem. For all the same reasons I just listed, he stopped being part of the solution back in the 90's and has been a major part of the problem ever since.

Elect Newt and you get a right wing version of the kind of bad judgement and generally scary decision making we're seeing under Obama. The key difference is, we won't have tyrants on steroids from the streets and alleys of Chicago. We'll have little potentates running around under Newt that come from Academia and the "hallowed" halls of top level politics. Same crap, same doom under a different name in charge.

Go Ron Paul!

Newt has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much political baggage to be going on a ride to the white house.

Gingrich , is of German, English, Scottish, and Irish ancestry . First two raped the planet , second two great whiskey

NH is irrelevant. We are talking about a state that looked the other way when dozens of feminist students at the state college lead a "castrate all males" parade a few years back. And a state(well most English American states like those in New England and the deep South) know for it's anti-male bigotry. If such "fine" institutions support Newt, gives me all the more reason to oppose him.
