When Camper was being served a warrant by the Dolomite, Alabama sheriff, Camper heard of the approaching lawman and fled into the woods. The sheriff organized a posse of locals and went after him. Frank Camper, who was supposedly a world-class expert in escape and evasion was easily captured - by a posse of civilian turkey hunters.

Completely utter bull#, sorry but that entire article holds no credit what so ever. Please get some real proof or # off!

Yes it is. This story was extrapolated from my arrest in the Florida Everglades (not Alabama) after being declared AWOL post-Nam return. There I was hunted by a small group of Army Military SandD specialists for return to the brig which I had broken out of twice.

The long and short is that I wrecked my Porsche on return to Alabama from Florida, was put into a civilian hospital with a broken leg and head trauma. I asked the hospital notify the US Army which they did not do.
The Army set my status as AWOL especially since I was CIA->Army Intell and was due to report ASAP to Ft. Benning for further training.

Since I could not show regular Army my forward assignment, I was screwed until they found me in Ft. Bragg hospital under 24 hour guard.

I think it was wrong what they did to you illegally in prison.

But I also think it was wrong what you did to other people as well.

If any of this is even half-true, that is.

"Prison" was a convenient cover at the time, I served less than 90 days, the rest I was on the BOP rolls but nowhere to be found CONUS.

Why are you proud of working for organizations that undermine the population's interests and destroy the environment?

That's probably my greatest possible question I could pose.

I mean there is simply no way you could have been involved in all of this stuff and remain innocent. Impossible, the odds of that are astronomical.

And this isn't a personal attack, it's an honest question which I would really like to see answered directly. And it's on topic because you created a topic about yourself seeking questions.

So why? What's the point of living a life based on destruction and deception?

It would be your opinion that my life was one of destruction. I would disagree.

Your assumptions are based on other peoples articles, why do you assume other people should be subject to other people's perseverance?

Or bullets and smoke screens?

Hi, LiveToSpendIt,

Please excuse my poor impulse control but I feel I must post. First could you run down to the rigger's shed and fetch me a set of canopy lights? Thanks. We also need some spark plugs for the Gamma goats while you are at it.

Secondly, if you were some type of Ranger why were you at a Fort Bragg hospital (why were you at Ft. Bragg at all, danger Ranger?)? Wouldn't Benning still have been closer to Florida? And why Benning? You know there weren't Rangers there till the 80's, anyway. And wouldn't Ft. Rucker would have been closer than even that?

Are you familiar with Fort Bragg? You must be since you are SOG. Let's talk local geography.
