Do not understand the question. 11/11/11 means the 11th month and the 11th day of the 11th year.

11/11/11
month/day/year

Please explain what you mean

The date of a thread is given in the first post of that thread top left corner of the OP

well today is 11/22/11 so that would make 11/10/11 out to be 12 days ago.
Is that what you are wanting? Something to tell how many days or weeks or months a thread is?
Call me dumb but I am still missing the point of this thread.

That depends on where you live... right now I am living at 8:44 pm on the 22nd but my friend in Japan is living in the future at 1:44pm on the 23rd

Does that help?

I think your date format is wrong.

Click Tools > And delete anything you have written in the Date Format box, and then Click Submit right below that. Does it make a difference?

Yep, i think a date the thread was started on the main recent posts page would be very useful indeed. I have to do the same when checking for a thread date.
