Since when does pointing an index finger in the air qualify as flipping the bird? Please look closer at her hand. It appears to me it is her pointer finger in the air, not her middle finger. I see 3 knuckle bumps to the left of her finger. Try flipping the bird backwards yourself, you would have a hard time hiding your thumb from view.

It all depends on your flipping style. Some people tuck the thumb behind the fingers (i do) some display it to the side in a more flamboyant gesture. I also can't do Spock's vulcan salute either. Damn genetics.

a) yeah well it WAS the middle finger, not index
b) I have no problem reproducing the gesture.
