Women gamers have more sex, study finds

i'm a girl gamer and i do have more sex than my non gamer friends ( unless for some crazy reason they're lying about how often they get freaky) my fiance is also a gamer

lol I'm a female gamer and I haven't had it in 10 years. What a bunch of BS.

But the survey actually shows that only 16% of women do it for social purposes.

The top reasons for women playing are:

Relieve Stress = 61%
Alleviate Boredom = 58%
Mental Break = 58%

All of the above would be reasons for women to also turn to sex more if these are the main reasons for playing in the first place (according to the survey).

I think there is a lot more to this picture than whats being considered. Sex itself can relieve stress so no question about that part.
I think when the couple are both able to enguage each other in the game, it could create a special bond, and cause arousal. When me an my honey play an MMO and team up, we do feel closer for sure. Especially when we are helping each other in the game.

Interesting stats...much like my wifes...who is an avid gamer when the time allows her between work...family...the gym/dojo... and sex... and after 19 years of marriage if its games thats doing the trick i'll encourage her all the more i think

She first started on SWG when bored and made an entertainer..so the social side seemed very important to her..then she branched out in to the rather more violent stuff like TKM/Brawler or fencer...

She's tried numerous amount of other games and is currently playing AOC again after a years break... taking with her, her friend from STO in the states who is also a female gamer..one thing i have noticed from time to time though is the length of time she sometimes stops in the middle of a quest and just chats with her fellow players... hard to say if this is because she is typically female and likes to chat rather than listen/watch me grunt and answer her at appropriate moments from key picked out words in mid conversation or because of being near stone deaf it makes it easier to chat ...socialise with her hearing friends through the KB....it might be a little of everything... but yes..sex and gaming ... hmmm there just might be something in it... none of our friends partners game and i think we're the only ones left having significant rumpy pumpy or maybe im just one hell of a lucky sod
