Seems like these things are beginning to hit closer and closer to home.

Did you really?! WOW! Have you ever been in an earthquke before?

I am about 100 miles south of you and didn't feel it here in Central Texas, but looking on my quake watch app, it wasn't very deep only 3 miles. IMO the size of the quake might be too big for fracking to be the cause.

This was the second "large" one we have had since midnight last night, her in OKC. The first one is being reported as a 4.7, and the second one that just happened half an hour a go is being reported as 5.2.

It was enough to crack dry wall and knock pictures from the wall. No major damage but enough to rattle folks who are only used to tornadoes

Felt it in Midwest City, OK. Felt a few quakes over the last few years but this one REALLY got my attention. Not sure how long it lasted but i didnt think it was going to ever stop.

Okay, 4.7 was getting my attention... 5.6 has got me sitting straight up and wide awake. I'm only a few hundred miles from that. This is getting downright un-nerving.

I felt that last one pretty good, I'm in Fort Smith Arkansas. I started looking for news on it and katv.com said that Oklahoma has had 9 recorded earthquakes in the last 24 hours. With this 5.6 being the largest.

No damage here, but I have a wood frame house with wood siding.

It would not be prone to earthquake damage til a much stronger one.

Ppl with brick homes might have a bit of damage though, especially
if the brick is just held to the wood with flimsy brick straps.

It lasted less than a minute, but it was loud, and it shook pretty hard.

Local news has it as a 5.6 quake.

Oh no it was a noisy one?!
I hate those types. IMO a million times more scary than a quiet quake.
