So my two favorite shows "parks and recreation" and "the office" had an unusual title name for their episodes:

The office: Doomsday

Parks and Recreation: End of the World

I have never seen this before, its probably just me but is it hinting at something possibly about to happen..

Probably not.

To me, it seems more plausible that they could be playing off the fears of others though.

Crazy isn't it? I'd say it feels like a really bad rip-off of Final Destination but we're actually living this and you're thread hits on something that looks quite real. Those little signs and symbols, everywhere one looks.
