The only way people will understand what they were trying to do in Greece is to tell them that what will they do if they have to take half pay cut of whatever they make, half pay cut of their retirement, then half cut of SS and no Medicare. in order for the debtors of Greece to get their payments.

That is austerity, people needs to understand that the debt of the US is already out of control and unsustainable, we may be facing this type of austerity very soon.

"‘It’s all over. The government is about to collapse,’ said one Greek official. Greece’s former deputy finance minister Petros Doukas agreed: ‘The **** has hit the fan.’"

"Greek ministers this morning voted unanimously for a referendum on the bailout deal to take place in December, backing the proposal made by Prime Minister George Papandreou as he fought to save his own skin."

"The most likely scenario is that the government will press ahead with a vote of confidence on Friday, which it looks likely to lose. An interim government will then be appointed before a snap election."

"Last night a Greek government spokesman said Mr Papandreou had told his Cabinet he would hold a referendum seeking approval of the bailout deal come what may, and was determined to win Friday’s vote of confidence."

My personal opinion is that Greece will become a communist country if civil war takes place. My thinking is this is all playing out to the Russian and Israeli Oil and gas interests in the Mediterranean.I think they do not want to share the major discoveries with the EU.the Communists in Greece are the one to look out for.Not forgetting that
China/Russia and the Jews of the past were in favour of communism.A direct pipe line from Greece through Sirbia to Russia.Perfecto! Have you all noticed this all started When the contracts were signed with Israel/Russia for drilling in Cyprus and Greece .$500 Billion would be wiped off in no time, with the amount of oil and Gas .The third largest deposit in the world. The Russian Subs are already patrolling the Turkish waters and Guarding the Greek waters. It's all planned out for Greece to get out and not share it's ASSETS.And don't forget who has the one of the worlds greatest maritime shipping.Push come to shove Greeks will stick together at the last minute. We were
told that we would not complete the Olympic Games on time, but we did and it was one of the best ever Other than Sydney's.My touch on things.
