This is from the UK. Below is a quote from the story.

The existence of the fleet of planes - each costing at least £3 million to purchase and hundreds of thousands more to operate - has never been publicly disclosed. Despite the cuts the Met's secret fixed wing aircraft fleet is still flying regular sorties over London from a base at Farnborough airfield, in Hampshire.

Below is the link to the full story.

Makes me wonder when this is coming to America. If not already.

Doesn't surprise me however, I thought they could do all the mobile phone/email listening with the ECHELON system at menworth hill?

What's even weirder is "The pattern of hidden spending is believed to have been established by Tony Williams, a former assistant finance director at Scotland Yard, who established a secret web of companies for use in specialist undercover operations.

But Mr Williams also used the same techniques to steal millions of pounds from the force to set himself up as a bogus Scottish "laird". Williams was accused of stealing more than £4 million from Scotland Yard. He was jailed for seven years in 1995"....lol

There maybe a bit too much information in the article. I'm not being funny, but some things should be more 'secret'.
If the Metropolitan Police have these aircraft then they obviously feel that they're necessary and there's no need to draw the attention of all the bleating leftie human rights loving idiots.

Follow the money. It's always about theft or extortion these days isn't it? Thanks for your thoughts.

Human rights are either human rights, or there is no human rights, which is it, and how did 'Leftie' specifically come into it?

Please dont say stuff should stay secret on a conspiracy site. More to the point the MET have no right to be spying on civilians, that is not what they are paid to do. There actions should be transparent, they are not the secret service.
