Saddam will want the US to believe hes dead. Everyone else will continue to confirm his appearence, and state thats he just in hideing. Saddam dont matter anymore. His scum spawn(sons) will be the most important task to deal with. They are worse that saddam and the two of them must die together, or the middle east may never find peace. As they will always be a threat while alive.

It is not inconceivable that a "not dead" Saddam is useful for the coalition.
Literate posters will be aware that there is still (a) nothing confirmed absolutely re WMD (b) nothing incontrovertible re Al-Qaida, UbL and 9-11, hence the focus on "r�gime" change.
Well you don't get a much better r�gime change than having the leader under 1,000 tons of rubble.
So - if there are still things on the coalition's agenda: a "live" Saddam is probably preferable.
