Well if Harold Camping can change a date and recalculate three or four times why can't everyone else? He even had a stroke in the middle of it and it didn't stop him changing it. I for one need another day or two to prepare and I do need my daily dose of Starbucks Sumatra heavily laced with Hazelnut Cream. A bitter brew-It will help me prepare for the upcoming catastrophe this afternoon.......

Wait, wait, I am rereading the. dark knight thread and this is what he says, I don't think he is talking about the end of the world

The only thing is people are hearing those strange sounds in the skies, the have also odd things in the sky. Not sure if I have seen stars dance but who knows what could happen.

Well got up around 5;00am to go to washroom
look outside and could see a start but was to big about twice the size of jupitor
Got my camera and outside i whent only to see nothing sky was all cloudy no break anywere
So what the H???? did i see
I live in the country side no light polution here and i know my sky around here
Well i'm going to be out tonight with my camera and a few beer wish me luck

Do you learn a skill by going to bed? Or by seeking it and practicing it even when you can barely do the most basic moves at first?

You are already enlightened. You wouldn't be here if you weren't. What people are talking about is being conscious of and remembering who you really truly are so that you are controlling your mental and emotional development rather than being subject to the environment around you in a constant action/reaction cycle.

You say you are no more enlightened than before, but that's like staring at a piano and saying "I'm no better today than yesterday at playing it". Did you do anything with the conscious intention of trying to honestly see what all these people are talking about for the past few thousand years and with a dramatic increase in the past few years?

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at. I'm not talking about the end of the world either, never have as far as I know. I don't talk about aliens other than just the possibility. I am of the mind that 2013 can arrive and to a person look exactly like 2012. However for those who were riding the wave of collective consciousness they will see the difference and be the ones laying the pavement for the next stage of human development on a scale that puts the industrial revolution to shame. The way that people view relationships and competition will continue to shift.

This is a shift in consciousness. Now I don't assume that it can't happen in some dramatic manner with all sorts of insane visual things happening, but I've stepped back enough and see a picture of what's evolving that I look around and I see the very "shift of the ages" that these old prophecies have been talking about for so long. The only reason end of the world comes up is because people forget to distinguish between "end of the world as we know it" and "end of the world in destruction". Quantum theory was the end of the world as we knew it. It's taken almost 100 years for it to work its way into the collective consciousness enough to actually affect how we view our reality and what we think is possible. This next step of consciously evolving your consciousness and have broken the action/reaction cycle will have just as dramatic of an effect... but it still needs to spread just like any other new level of awareness and way of looking at the world.

I enjoyed reading the dark knight threads, but I only accept them as a "possibility", not as a sequence of events to expect to happen. It's like the telephone game... people get "images" of the collective consciousness building underneath us... but they can only interpret things according to their world view. So people who are terrified will typically interpret things in a negative direction, and those who are secure and confident will interpret them in a positive.

The purely positive ones (which are the more common ones by far) just don't get the attention for the same reason the news on the TV is almost all bad news... it's what gets people's attention.
